Ali-en-counter, video, 0'36'' I used a found footage of a rocket accident and explosion composed of countdown, lift-off and explosion, and put the film -including audio- backwards. the result is the formation (reversed explosion) of a rocket in the air. it's landing (reversed lift-off), and a counter start (reversed countdown). Because the audio is backwards, all the technical talk becomes an alien language. and at the eleventh second of the reversed video one can clearly hear the word "assassinio", the portuguese word for murder.
