migso002 is my first audio cd and also the name of my 2002 solo exhibition in Galeria Monumental, in Lisbon.
migso002 cd includes 30 musics I composed and recorded between September 2001 and February 2002.
The music was composed using computer and audio software. In the cd booklet are images from the Bug
series from 1999 where I photographed a small mechanic toy with a laser pointer attached, inside a mirror cube.

The cd was released by Variz, ref.003den, a small independent electronic music label in Lisbon.
The exhibition consisted of:
Two videos: Sparky in a video projection,
and GT (3d animation, 2000) in a monitor with headphones and a Gonçalo orange armchair.
One listening area for the migso002 cd with cd player, headphones and another Gonçalo orange armchair.
And a series of 6 high resolution render images with moon scenes from the Sparky video. Durst lambda prints on Alucolic, 90x120cm.

Sparky is a 3d animation made for Sparky, the music included in the audio cd migso002. It tells the story of mr. A, that was going on the street one
day and is mistakenly identified as someone called Sparky by Mr. B.
Mr.B says: -Sparky?
Mr. A replies: No sir.
The pursuit begins. Mr. A takes a taxi to an airport, then a plane to a desert island. Followed by Mr B.
Mr. B spots Mr.A in the island: -Sparky?!
-No sir.
Mr. A takes a plane to another continent, then a taxi to the Space Agency, then takes a rocket to the moon.
Followed by Mr.B that lands on the moon seconds after Mr.A.
Mr.B: -Sparky?
Mr. A: No sir.
Zoom out. two lunar modules on the surface of the moon, facing each other. lunar mountains and behind, the earth. end.
